Andressa Urach

Andressa Urach, then 15 years of age, started meeting Tiago Costa at the age of 15 and began dating Tiago. The couple moved in after three months. Arthur Urach Costa, born May 19th, 2005 was the only child of the couple. In the course of six years the couple split due to marital issues. Andressa moved in with her son at her mother's residence. After six months, Urach was fired and placed her son under the custody of her father. Her main goal was to find a more prosperous life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach writes in her memoir Morri Para Viver about her experience of sexual assault by her foster father that occurred between the ages of two and eight. It was only possible to get out of this mess since her foster grandmother was the one to catch the act and Andressa went back to stay with her mother, who didn't know about her abuse until Andressa published her memoir. The woman's interviews confirmed that it was difficult for her prior to her change of heart. Forgiveness of her victim was something she believed to be unattainable. When I was faced with one of my most difficult decisions, I called the person who had hurt me sexually. It was not an easy thing to do. After several prayers and the vows to fast, I contacted him to say I was sorry and asked for forgiveness. But I did ask forgiveness and did not justify myself.
